Conference Awards and Criteria

As the conference would like to recognize the researchers who have exemplarily performed in the presentation, and who have submitted a well-written manuscript, awards will be given to participants:

  • Best Conference Paper
  • Best Oral Presenter
  • Best Extension Paper
  • Best Poster
  • other Special Awards

Criteria for Best Conference Paper (per track):

CRITERIA:Ideal Rating
ORIGINALITY (20%)
1. Provision for new ideas.10
2. Observance of IPR and proper acknowledgment of sources.10
TECHNICAL MERIT OF THE STUDY (30%)
1. Adequacy, attainability, and clarity of the objectives.10
2. Clarity of the Rationale and state-of-the-art to analyze the problem.5
3. Methodology
a. Appropriate of research design and statistical tools.
b. Sufficiency and relevance of variables.
c. Adequacy of data collection method.

4. Consistency of the activities with the research objectives methodology and expected outputs.5
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE FINDINGS (40%)
1. Importance of the project.10
2. Contribution to science, art, rural households, industry, instruction, community sector, regional or national development.10
3. Usefulness of the expected outputs or findings to increase in scientific workforce.10
4. Superiority of outputs to the existing knowledge/ information/ technology.10
MANUSCRIPT/WRITE-UP (10%)
1. Appropriateness and accuracy of languages (tone) and figures.5
